We spent some time admiring the details on some of the buildings. Perhaps one of the surprises was the some ancient drain pipes which have been restored. The date reads 1728.

We took a walk along the river past the Theatre Severn, enjoying the profusion of flowers in the Quarry Gardens - the opening buds are attractive.
Down by the river the chestnut trees were in full bloom
